The kids eating oranges with daddy one afternoon.There are certain things they only do with him and this is one of them. Sometimes he comes home with a big bag of oranges, gets a knife from the kitchen and sits with the kids in front of the house. They are capable of eating countless oranges!

That is such a sweet picture.
How come? Does he cut them in a special way? My mother-in-law is really good at cutting grapefruit ;D I don't have the patience for that ;D
He cuts them the "Brazilian way" :) As in you cut the green part of the peel in a spiral and leave the white part intact. Then you cut the orange in half and eat what's inside the white part. If that makes any sense :)
Hmm...kind of, so he cuts out the flesh of the orange? That is exactly how my mother-in-law does it, cuts out the flesh of the grapefruit from inside and straight to the mouth with the knife, and the kids love it!
I love that something so simple is so meaningful for your family.
