A few days ago I made bread using the boiling water from beetroots. The dough had a wonderful colour, I should have taken a picture of that too! After baked the bread was pink from the outside and more or less normal colour from the inside. The kids loved it, husband didn't :) He's not too keen on my breads as I apparently use too much rye, oat meal and other healthy stuff in them...
